Release Notes:

1. Return to Service for tvOS
   tvOS now supports Return to Service, enabling IT admins to quickly set up devices after a factory reset or user reassignment. This helps streamline device re-provisioning and reduces setup time.

2. macOS Updates

   1. Reboot Workflow for macOS: Admins can now create reboot workflows for macOS devices, enabling scheduled and periodic restarts across managed devices to maintain performance and compliance.

   2. Storage Compliance Workflow: Storage compliance workflows are now supported on macOS. Admins can configure storage thresholds and receive email notifications when devices exceed defined limits.

3. Password Change Protection using Keycard
   Keycard introduces enhanced password security across platforms:

   • Prevents users on Windows from setting empty passwords.

   • Monitors local password changes on both Windows and macOS, ensuring users sync their passwords with the identity provider (IdP) to avoid mismatches.

4. Force Password Change After Reset (UAM)
   To improve security and compliance, admins can now require users to change their password after a reset:

   • When resetting a password, admins can enforce a mandatory password change upon next login.

   • If enabled, previously known passwords may no longer be valid for future recovery, requiring a new reset if the user forgets their password again.

5. Updated Default Login for On-Prem Connector
   The default login name for the On-Prem Connector has been updated to align with compliance guidelines. This change applies to new installations on the latest versions.

6. Force Logout Based on SSO Session Duration (GWS & Entra)

   Admins can now enforce automatic logout for users based on the session duration configured in SAML and/or OIDC SSO settings for Google Workspace (GWS) and Microsoft Entra.

   • Users are automatically signed out once their configured session duration expires.

   • Logout is applied across all devices, based on the oldest active session.

7. Android Updates

   1. Enhanced Device Support & Enrollment

      1. Improved support for Sunmi devices, enabling faster and more seamless enrollment. Admins can now also apply boot animations on supported Sunmi devices.

      2. Added support for boot animations on Wishtel devices.

   2. Camera Compatibility for BYO Devices

      1. Automatically detects and enables required apps (such as Photos or Gallery) to ensure proper camera functionality and access to captured images on BYO devices.

   3. Performance Improvements

      1. Enhanced performance on Tecno devices by leveraging auto-start permissions for improved reliability.

   4. Bug Fixes & Improvements

      1. Fixed an issue where notifications were accessible even when disabled.

      2. Improved captive portal support, allowing access to login URLs on gated Wi-Fi networks.

      3. Resolved an issue where the license code screen was not displayed during afw# enrollment.

      4. Fixed a geofence compliance issue where the full-screen “out of compliance” message was not shown.

      5. Addressed missing screens (Device Name, Group Key, Profile Selection) during Wingman-based enrollment.

      6. Fixed an issue preventing the Wingman app from downloading during License Key or Email-based enrollment.

8. General Enhancements

   • App Version Visibility in Third-Party Patches
     Third-party app patches now display the associated app version, improving visibility and management accuracy.
