Version Information:

  • Scalefusion macOS MDM Agent: v5.2.5

  • Scalefusion Windows MDM Agent: v16.7.0

Release Notes:

  1. SIEM Integration

Scalefusion now supports integration with two major SIEM platforms: Cisco Splunk and IBM QRadar.
Admins can choose which event categories and even which specific events within each category should be forwarded to their SIEM system. Event Categories Supported:

    1. Dashboard Access Events: Real-time forwarding of login and admin activity

    2. Account Activity Events: All account-related actions recorded within Scalefusion are sent to the SIEM provider.

    3. Device Management Events: All device management actions (as captured in the P&A report) are forwarded.

    4. Device Activity Events: Device login/logoff and user activity details are included.

  2. Windows Agent Update (Maintenance Release)

This maintenance release includes improvements to localization, enrollment behavior, provisioning, and system reliability.

    1. What's New

      1. Localization Support: The Scalefusion Windows MDM Agent now supports additional languages:
German, Spanish, French, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese (BR), and Portuguese (PT).

      2. Improved Domain Detection: The agent now captures the device’s domain name even when enrolled through agent-only enrollment, not just modern management.

      3. Updated PPKG Provisioning Flow: PPKG-based provisioning now uses agent-based enrollment first, followed by modern management.

    2. Bug Fixes & Enhancements

      1. Resolved an issue where some devices were incorrectly shown as eligible for Windows 11 despite missing requirements.

      2. Fixed inconsistencies in device location collection.

      3. Improved the workaround that enables sign-in to Microsoft apps while in agent-based kiosk mode.

      4. Fixed a WebKit-based location issue where users could access blocked websites through the embedded WebView.

  3. macOS MDM Agent

    1. An issue where macOS updates initiated through Self-Service could remain stuck in the “Approval Pending” state has been resolved.

  4. OneIdP Enhancements

    1. Support for SAML/OIDC as Second-Factor Only: You can now use AnySAML and AnyOIDC configurations as second-factor authentication options. This is especially useful for organizations whose existing IdPs already handle primary authentication and rely on OneIdP for device-level compliance. This enhancement also makes it easier to integrate with new IdP vendors that support authentication chaining.

    2. Improved SSO Configuration Visibility: For SSO setups that require admin-level permission grants, the SSO configuration page now displays:

      1. The email address used to grant permissions

      2. The current permission status
