Release Notes:
Veltar
Google SafeSearch for iOS and macOS Devices
IT administrators can now enforce Google SafeSearch on both managed and unmanaged iOS and macOS devices using Veltar’s Secure Web Gateway (SWG) module.
On managed devices, SafeSearch policies are enforced across applications.
On unmanaged devices, policies apply only when traffic is routed through managed configurations.
On unsupervised devices, end users may disable SafeSearch enforcement.
In addition to Google Search and YouTube, SafeSearch enforcement is also extended to Bing Search.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue in Veltar VPN where, if no DNS address was configured, the agent would fail to resolve traffic. The agent now defaults to 8.8.8.8 when a DNS address is not provided.
Fixed an issue where deleting or unpublishing a VPN configuration could cause devices to lose internet connectivity.
Fixed an issue where Just-In-Time (JIT) Admin Elevation sessions incorrectly prompted for an internet connection even when the device was already connected.
OneIdP
Multi-Factor Authentication on Managed Devices
IT administrators can now enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on managed devices. This setting can be enabled from SSO Configurations → General Settings. Once enabled, users are challenged with MFA after device compliance checks and can authenticate using one of the following methods:
An OTP from another managed device
An OTP from a third-party authenticator app
An OTP sent to their mobile phone (if Twilio integration is enabled for the organization)
If MFA is enabled and a user does not have access to another managed device, they will be prompted to set up a third-party authenticator during authentication.
SCIM Outbound (SCIM-Based User & Group Sync)
IT administrators can now sync users and groups created in OneIdP to external systems such as HRMS platforms and Apple Business Manager (ABM) / Apple School Manager (ASM), enabling OneIdP to act as a single source of identity governance. This capability allows any SCIM v2.0 compliant system to be configured for automatic synchronization of user and group updates.
With this release, Scalefusion is now fully SCIM v2.0 compliant, supporting both import and export of users and groups.
