Migration of Existing Custom Configurations

Custom configurations previously created within iOS and macOS device profiles are automatically migrated to the Apple Configurations section.

• Existing custom configurations are converted into reusable Apple Configurations.

• Migrated configurations are automatically published to their respective device profiles.

• The original Custom Settings option in profiles is marked as deprecated and redirects administrators to Apple Configurations.

This ensures a seamless transition without impacting existing deployments.

As of now, on the device profile page for both iOS and macOS, you will see the below message when you try to access the custom setting of the respective platform.
