Apple tvOS

Apple tvOS is the operating system that powers Apple TV, enabling app-based streaming, presentations, and interactive experiences on TVs. When managed with Scalefusion MDM, tvOS allows organizations to centrally enroll, configure, and control Apple TV devices used in shared and business environments.

Where Apple TV is typically used:

  1. Conference rooms & meeting spaces: For presentations, screen sharing, and dashboards.

  2. Retail & hospitality: Digital signage, promotional content, guest information.

  3. Education & training rooms: Displaying learning content, demos, or announcements.

  4. Corporate common areas: Company communications, metrics, or live feeds.

What Scalefusion MDM enables for tvOS devices.

  1. Enroll Apple TV devices centrally via Apple Business Manager (ABM) or Apple School Manager (ASM).

  2. Control which apps are installed and visible on Apple TV.

  3. Lock devices to approved use cases (kiosk-style behavior).

  4. Apply consistent configurations across locations.

  5. Monitor device status and inventory.

This ensures Apple TVs remain purpose-driven and tamper-resistant.
