Release Notes:

1. Zebra Printer Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) Updates

   IT Admins can now seamlessly deploy firmware updates to supported Zebra printers via the Scalefusion dashboard. This new functionality allows:

   1. Direct Upload: Admins can download FOTA files from the official Zebra portal and upload them directly to the Scalefusion portal.

   2. FTP Deployment: Alternatively, if using a public FTP server, admins can provide the server link to initiate the OTA deployment.

   3. Supported Devices:

      3. Zebra ZQ630 Plus

2. Simplified Discovery URL Configuration via ABM/ASM

   Setting up Modern BYO for iOS and iPadOS traditionally required hosting the discovery document (JSON) in a well-known directory of the organization's domain. With Apple’s update, a simplified method is now available.

   1. Alternate Discovery via ABM/ASM: If an organization's Apple Business Manager (ABM) or Apple School Manager (ASM) account is connected to the MDM, IT Admins can now select the associated ABM/ASM site under the Alternate Discovery section in Scalefusion.

   2. This approach eliminates the need to modify the domain or DNS configuration—the discovery URL is programmatically handled via the ABM/ASM integration.

   3. If the ABM/ASM token is deleted from Scalefusion, the associated alternate discovery URL is also automatically removed, ensuring a clean disconnection. This supports smooth transitions for organizations choosing to discontinue or migrate from Scalefusion.
