UEM Enhancements

  1. Android

    1. MXConfig Remote Commands for Zebra Devices: We’ve introduced a dedicated remote command for Zebra devices to streamline the management of MX configuration files. A new, intuitive pop-up wizard simplifies the process, allowing you to directly paste XML payloads, validate content, and import files from your local explorer.

    2. Granular Output Viewer: The "Last Run Report" now provides a detailed output viewer for Zebra StageNow commands. This allows for precise troubleshooting by displaying specific API responses for queries and detailed error messages for failures.

    3. Branding Updates: Administrators can now configure the Status Bar's color (light or dark) from the Branding section to better match device wallpaper.

    4. Bug Fixes:

      1. Fixed an issue where auto-rotation was enabled when no orientation was set in the profile.

      2. Resolved a permissions conflict within the MDM SDK.

  2. Apple

    1. Zero-Day Support for iOS & macOS 26: This update provides zero-day support for the latest iOS and macOS operating systems.

    2. iOS Management Options: New management options are now available for iOS devices:

      1. Allow/Block Live Voicemail

      2. Allow/Block Safari History Clearing

      3. Allow/Block Safari Private Browsing

      4. Configure Denied ICCIDs for iMessage & FaceTime

      5. Configure Denied ICCIDs for RCS

    3. macOS Management Options: The following new options have been added for macOS:

      1. Allow/Block Call recording

      2. Allow/Block Live Voicemail

      3. Allow/Block Local User Creation

      4. Allow/Block Safari History Clearing

      5. Allow/Block Safari Private Browsing

    4. macOS Software Update Settings:

      1. Rapid Security Response (RSR) Updates: You can now allow or block end-users from installing and rolling back RSR updates.

      2. Update Notifications: Control whether all update notifications are shown, or only one-hour deadline and restart notifications are displayed.

    5. Deprecations: The following settings have been marked as deprecated: Prerelease Software, Check for updates, Install app updates from the App Store, and Install Configuration Data.

  3. General UEM

    1. Geofencing for User-Based Devices: Geofencing support is now extended to user-enrolled devices, allowing you to apply geofences to both company-owned (CO) and Bring Your Own Device (BYO) devices. Devices will be marked as "Move-In" or "Move-Out" based on their location relative to the geofence.

OneIDP Enhancements

  1. Skip Password on Managed Devices: OneIDP SSO now offers an option to allow users on managed devices to sign in to SSO applications without a password. This provides a seamless user experience while maintaining security.

  2. Extended Access Policies (XAP): We've introduced XAP to enhance OneIDP’s conditional SSO. Administrators can now grant access based on device trust (from Android Enterprise), device location, IP address, and application installation status.

  3. SSO Application Access Logs: Detailed access logs for all applications using OneIDP’s SSO are now available, allowing you to track access attempts from both managed and unmanaged devices.
