Release Notes:

  1. Role-Based Access Control for Remote Commands

To provide more granular control over Remote Commands, we have introduced Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for this feature. IT Admins can now manage which roles have permissions to create, edit, copy, delete or run a Remote Command. By default, the following system roles have all permissions enabled:

    1. Co-Account Manager

    2. Group Admin Read/Write

    3. Device Admin R/W

  2. Device Name-Based Automation in Groups

Group automation rules now support device name-based criteria for dynamically assigning devices to groups.

Note: Only one name-based rule can be associated with a group.

  3. Display Name Mapping for Entra/M365 User Management

For customers using Microsoft 365/Entra SSO and User Management, admins can now choose how display names are derived when creating or updating users via the Scalefusion Dashboard. Available options:

    1. Username

    2. First Name, Last Name

  4. Scalefusion 360 Plan

The Scalefusion 360 Plan is now generally available and can be directly purchased by both new and existing customers. This all-in-one plan offers access to all three Scalefusion product offerings, delivering maximum value and streamlined management.

  5. New Developer APIs to Fetch Enrollment Configurations

We have added new APIs to help developers and partners programmatically retrieve enrollment (QR Code) configurations:

    1. GET /api/v1/configs/enrollment_configs.json
Retrieve a list of available enrollment configurations along with their IDs.

    2. POST /api/v1/configs/enrollment_configs/{id}/show_config.json
Fetch details of a specific configuration, including QR codes, enrollment URLs, and metadata. Optionally, pass a user-email to get BYOD-specific enrollment information.
