Zebra Printer Management (MQTT Support)

Scalefusion now supports Zebra Printers that use the MQTT protocol, allowing centralized management directly from the Scalefusion dashboard. Enrollment Options:

1. Scalefusion Cloud Connector: For printers with internet access.

2. Linux/Windows Connectors: For offline environments. Admins can install the connector on-premises, connect printers, and open required ports for Scalefusion cloud access.

Key Features:

1. Monitor printer state (active/inactive)

2. View error logs

3. Apply profiles and policies via device groups

4. Fully tested with models like:

Apple MDM Enhancements

1. macOS Enhancements

   1. New Restrictions:

      1. Allow Screenshot

      2. Configure Fingerprint Timeout

   2. Apple Intelligence Settings:

      1. Allow Report Generation, Smart Replies, Transcription, and Safari Summary

   3. Sharing Controls: Modify sharing settings like Bluetooth, File, Internet, Printer, and more.

2. ADE/DEP Enrollment Skip Screens: Admins can skip specific screens for streamlined deployment:

Location-Based Workflows (macOS & iOS)

1. Location Inactivity Compliance: Trigger email alerts and broadcast messages when a device doesn’t report location for a configured duration.

2. Geofence-Based Profile Switching: Automatically switch device profiles based on geolocation.

Android: Veltar Compliance with Android Enterprise Device Trust

Scalefusion now integrates with Device Trust from Android Enterprise that helps capture signals from the devices to derive a compliance posture on Company Owned, Bring Your Own and Company Owned Personal Devices.

IT Admins can use the prebuilt compliance benchmarks offered as a part of Veltar Compliance module, that are built using Device Trust from Android Enterprise or customize them to meet their organizational needs.

Scalefusion offers around 30+ signals that allow IT Admins to capture the device posture  right from the age of operating system to the state of updates, monitor network status, password strength applied by the user and ensure that the critical system apps are always updated.

IT Admins can choose to activate the module in Monitoring or remediation mode, thereby offering the flexibility to either monitor the compliance state or make changes to the policies to ensure the device is compliant.

Other Enhancements

1. Google Play Services Auto-Add

   Google Play Services will now be added by default post-AE setup. Admins must still publish the app to update it on devices.
