Uninstall Protection for MDM Agent (macOS)
We have introduced uninstall protection for the MDM agent for macOS, preventing users from directly uninstalling the agent app. This feature can be enabled from Utilities > Global Settings > Agent App Protection. Once enabled, you need to enter the uninstall password, only then the agent app will get uninstalled. This password is unique to the device and can be viewed by IT administrators with the Device Exit Password permission.
General Improvements in macOS
1. Improved Local IP Address Retrieval: Enhanced the process for fetching local IP addresses, improving reliability.
2. Sequential App Catalog Installation: Applications pushed from the app catalog are now installed sequentially to improve Quality of Service (QoS) and overall performance.
Encryption Details in Device Inventory Report (Windows)
The Device Inventory report now includes encryption and recovery key information for all drives on Windows devices. To include this data, IT administrators must select the Windows Encryption Details option when downloading the report.
SSO Support for Tableau and OneLogin
OneIdP now supports single sign-on (SSO) for Tableau and OneLogin services.
