Windows
Enhanced Remote Wipe Options: We have enhanced the factory reset functionality with new options for greater flexibility and control. The available Wipe Options are:
Factory Reset (Default): This option performs a standard factory reset, erasing all user data. It now utilizes the latest modern management APIs to ensure the wipe completes even if the user attempts to shut down or reboot the device during the process.
Backup provisioning data and Wipe: This utility deletes all user data but preserves the provisioning package (PPKG) file if the device was enrolled using one.
Automatic Re-enrollment: If the device was enrolled exclusively via PPKG, it will automatically re-enroll after the wipe and appear as a new device entry.
Manual Re-enrollment: In all other enrollment scenarios, the device will not automatically re-enroll and will require manual re-enrollment after the wipe.
Backup user data and Wipe: This option backs up all user data before wiping the device. This allows for a soft reset and facilitates re-enrollment if needed. The device will not automatically re-enroll after the wipe and will require manual re-enrollment.
