In accordance with Apple's platform support guidance and evolving OS requirements, Scalefusion is updating the minimum supported OS versions for its macOS and iOS apps. These changes will be introduced in phases, starting with the October 2026 iOS feature releases, followed by updated minimum OS requirements for both platforms from November 2026.
What is Changing?
The minimum supported OS versions for Scalefusion apps will be updated as follows:
October 2026 iOS Feature Releases: The minimum supported iOS version will increase from iOS 11 to iOS 13.
From November 2026: New versions of Scalefusion apps will support the following minimum OS versions:
macOS: macOS 12 (Monterey) and later, up from macOS 10.14.
iOS: iOS 15 and later, up from iOS 11.
Impact on Devices Running Older OS Versions
Devices running OS versions below the updated minimum requirements will remain enrolled in Scalefusion and continue enforcing existing policies. However, these devices will no longer receive new Scalefusion agent updates, including subsequent features, bug fixes, and compatibility updates.
Recommended Actions
To ensure your devices continue receiving the latest Scalefusion agent updates, we recommend the following actions:
Review your device fleet: Use the OS Version report in the Scalefusion Dashboard to identify devices running OS versions below the updated minimum requirements.
Plan OS upgrades: Upgrade affected devices to the applicable supported OS version before November 2026, wherever possible.
Verify OS compatibility: Ensure your macOS devices run macOS 12 or later and your iOS devices run iOS 15 or later to continue receiving new agent updates from November 2026.
