Release Notes:

We have released some generic enhancements that provide additional options to manage the iOS devices.

  1. Clear Passcode at a Device Level: Admins can now choose to clear the passcode for a single device instead of removing the policy from the profile.

  2. Configure Web-Clips to Open Apps: Create shortcuts by configuring a web-clip to open an installed app. Refer to our updated help document to understand how it works.

  3. Web-Content Filtering Settings: Configure the web-content filtering rules for iOS devices. Choose between strictly allowing the selected websites or enforcing the default website filtering or simply adding Web-clips to the iOS home screen.

  4. Remote Lock Screen: Admins can now remotely lock the screen from the Device details screen or the Bulk actions available in the Devices page.
    1. Developer API: We have also added an API which can be integrated from your backend to remotely lock the device.
  5. Custom Fields in Lock Screen Message: Use $device.imei_no and $device.serial_no in the Lock screen message to dynamically replace/append the IMEI and/or Serial number to the Lock screen message.
