Apple Device Management Enhancements

These enhancements provide administrators with more granular control over Apple device settings, improving security and management capabilities.

1. Apple Intelligence Settings: Administrators can now adjust the following Apple intelligence settings:

   1. Allow Genmoji

   2. Allow Image Playground

   3. Allow Image Wand

   4. Allow Writing Tools

   5. Allow Personalized Handwriting Result
      

2. Remote Mirroring Options: Administrators can configure remote mirroring options to secure apps and their content.

   1. Allow iPhone Mirroring to macOS: Enables or disables iPhone mirroring to macOS.

   2. Allow Video Conference Remote Control: Enables or disables remote control for video conferences.
      

3. Disk Management Settings: Administrators can configure disk management settings to control data read/write access to disk and network storage devices.
   

4. Deprecations:

   1. BYO Device Management using Downloaded Profiles and MAIDs (Managed Apple IDs): This method of managing BYO devices is no longer supported. We recommend using Automated MAIDs enrollment, which can be configured from the Getting Started > Apple Setup > Apple User Enrollment section.

   2. Clear Password for User Enrolled BYO Devices: The option to clear the password for user-enrolled BYO devices has been removed.
