Release Notes:

1. A customizable Scalefusion Kiosk/launcher screen which allows for adding multiple pages, positioning icons at exact locations on screen and grouping the apps and browser shortcuts into folders.

2. Introducing, Network compliance workflow to define network-based device access rules based on IP Address, Wifi SSID or metered networks and take actions automatically on the device. IT Admins can choose to either block the device or apply a different profile based on the detected network.

3. Enhanced Battery compliance workflow that lets you remotely turn off the device on supported devices or turn off network or radios or adjust screen timeout values, that can potentially reduce battery consumption.

4. Password self-service that allows end users to reset their device password/PIN locally on the device in the event they forget the password/PIN.

5. Policy Enhancements:

   1. Option to allow/block printing in company-owned and work-profile devices.

   2. Option to block battery from charging beyond the default device limit allowing for battery optimization, supported on Lenovo and Wingman supported devices.

   3. Option to control Font settings by allowing users to choose a Font size from Scalefusion home screen or enforce a default font size.

   4. Option to allow/block data sharing over Bluetooth for company-owned devices.

6. Option to configure domain name in Enterprise Wi-Fi connections for compatibility with Android 13 and above devices.

7. Extending the remote commands to kill/close an application to Samsung Knox devices.

8. Option to set a default password on devices - static or dynamic to make sure that the devices are compliant with password policies.
   

   Note:

   Please note this is an advanced feature and should be used with caution as this can lock out the users.

9. Enhanced the location collection functionality for BYO devices. Please note that on BYO devices, location collection will be infrequent and depends on the device, however we have made some enhancements to provide better QoS.

10. Bug Fixes:

    1. Location pop-up getting displayed multiple times.

    2. SIM Network type of 5G was not getting synced properly.

    3. Usage access and unknown sources permission showing as not granted in COPE devices.

    4. Fixed an issue where Time based access was not allowing the application once the day changes.

    5. Fixing issues with Huawei Assist setup on Huawei devices.

Note:

This is a major release and involves considerable changes. Please make sure to verify the update on a few devices before mass rollout.
