Introduction to Scalefusion MDM for iOS

Scalefusion is a Mobile Device Management solution that allows you to configure and remotely manage your iOS devices. Before you start exploring the Scalefusion solution, here is a run-down on the various features that we offer in our first version.
Supported Devices and OS Versions:
- Support for iOS devices starting iOS 10 - Start managing your devices that run a minimum of iOS 10.
- Support for UnSupervised, Supervised and DEP Devices - Configure and Control policies on any kind of iOS device that you have, be it Unsupervised, Supervised or a device purchased under the DEP program. Note that the level of Control that you get differs on an UnSupervised device versus a Supervised device.
Scalefusion Feature Matrix
On iOS, the feature set primarily depends on whether the device is being supervised or not. Supervision is a process that gives you complete control over the devices and is ideal for corporate-owned devices. Whereas for Employee-owned devices, the features are more veered towards managing corporate data. The table below shows the list of features; click on the links to learn how to use them,
|Gives you the ability to mark a set of applications as either allowed or blocked so that the device either allows strictly the allowed applications or allows all applications except the blocked ones. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Allowing Websites/URLs - Gives you the ability to allow only the given set of URLs to be opened in Safari. Additionally, you can choose to create and place Shortcuts (Web-Clips) for these URLs on the iOS Home screen. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Gives you the ability to choose a Lock screen message for your devices and apply a Home screen and Lock Screen wallpaper. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Home Screen Layout
|Gives you the ability to create multiple pages and/or order the icons on the iOS Home Screen. You can also arrange items on the Dock.
|Single App/Autonomous Single App Mode
|From the list of applications that you have allowed, choose one application that runs all the time or let the applications put themselves into Single App mode as per their schedule. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Remotely configure WiFi settings on the managed devices and additionally enforce WiFi settings on Supervised devices. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Enable/Disable Safari on Supervised devices and control security settings on any managed devices. Learn how to use this feature here.
|iCloud & Siri Settings
|Control data sync settings for iCloud and Siri usage settings. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Lock Screen Settings
|Control the Lock screen experience and widgets on managed devices. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Control application usage settings on your supervised devices. Learn how to use this feature here.
|OS Update Settings
|Set an adoption time for OS updates by setting a delay for up to 90 days. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Email & Exchange Settings
|Configure Email and/or Exchange Settings on your managed devices. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Work Data Settings
|Control how your Work Apps share data with non-work/personal applications. Learn how to use this feature here.
|A bunch of generic settings to get better control of the managed devices. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Scalefusion allows you to install applications remotely either from the iTunes/Apple app store or lets you publish your Enterprise applications. Learn all about application management here.

|Device Profiles are Scalefusion entities that let you the various settings that you can apply to one or multiple devices. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Device Groups are logical entities, where you can group together your corporate devices, set a common Device Profile and perform Group level actions. Learn how to use this feature here.
|User Management & User Groups
|Scalefusion lets you import your organization's users and invite them to enroll their devices to Scalefusion to give them managed access to Corporate data. Learn how you can manage users and user groups here.
|Corporate Device Enrollment
|Lets you enroll your corporate devices in a quick way so that they can be managed from Scalefusion. Learn how to use this feature here.
|User Based Device Enrollment
|Lets you invite your employees to enroll their devices to Scalefusion to access corporate data, or you can choose to enroll your corporate devices with user user-based assignment. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Apple Configurator 2-based Enrollment
|You can use Apple Configurator 2 to enroll and supervise your devices. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Apple DEP Device Management
|If your organization procures devices under the Device Enrollment Program (DEP), then you can use Scalefusion Dashboard to manage them. Learn how to use this feature here.
|Apple Volume Purchase Program (VPP)
|If your organization procures Application licenses for paid applications via Apple's Volume Purchase Program, then you can distribute them via Scalefusion Dashboard. Learn how to use this feature here.
