Article summary

Google Authenticator is an advanced mechanism of 2-step verification that enables verification of a sign-in attempt using the Google Authenticator application. Once enabled, all the owner accounts, co-account owner accounts & administrators would need the code generated by the Google Authenticator application to complete the Sign-In process.

Who can Enable Two-Step Authentication?

Only the accounts with Owners and co-account Owners have the privilege of enabling 2-step authentication.

Before you Begin

  1. Make sure you have a valid Scalefusion Dashboard account with the owner or co-account owner privileges.
  2. Make sure that you have installed the Google Authenticator application from the Google Play Store or iTunes App Store on your Android or iPhone.
Enabling 2-step verification will force all the owners, co-account owners, and other administrators in your Scalefusion Dashboard to follow 2-step verification.
