  2. Group Management Enhancements

    1. Duplicate Group Names:

      1. To accommodate diverse business and logistical needs, Administrators can now create groups with identical names, provided they reside in different parent groups. This accommodates diverse business and logistical needs.

      2. Duplicate group names within the same parent group at same level remain prohibited.

    2. Enhanced Group Identification:

      1. The following enhancements have been implemented:

        1. Device Inventory Report: A Group Path parameter is now included.

        2. CSV Upload Flows: The following CSV upload flows now accept Group Path as an additional parameter to resolve conflicts: IMEI/Serial# Enrollment, Create Groups in Bulk, Move Device(s) to Group, and Import Users in User Enrollment.

        3. Publish/Unpublish Group: When publishing or unpublishing, the entire group path is displayed on hover for groups with duplicate names.

    3. Sub-Group Data in Device Inventory Report:

      1. When downloading a Device Inventory report for a group, administrators can now choose to include data from all sub-groups, providing a comprehensive overview of the group and its associated devices.

  3. Android BYOD Enrollment Simplification

    1. One-Click Enrollment: Users can now initiate BYOD enrollment directly by clicking the enrollment link provided in their invitation email.

      1. If the Scalefusion MDM Agent is not installed, clicking the link redirects users to the Google Play Store for download. Upon installation and launch from the Play Store, enrollment completes automatically.

      2. If the Scalefusion MDM Agent is already installed, clicking the link directly launches the app and initiates the enrollment process.

  4. Veltar Enhancements for Android

    1. Persistent VPN Connection: Administrators can now enforce a constant VPN connection by preventing users from disconnecting, using the new setting within the VPN configuration.

    2. Simultaneous VPN and Secure Web Gateway Usage: The previous limitation preventing the concurrent use of VPN and Secure Web Gateway (SWG) has been resolved. Administrators can now enable both VPN for internal resource access and Web Content Filtering (WCF) for enhanced security on the same device.
