Enhancements to WiFi configuration fallbacks (Company Owned device):
Configure extended fallbacks when a WiFi configuration is pushed to the device by allowing users to switch between WiFis.
Disable WiFi Mac randomization (Company Owned device):
On Lenovo devices with support for CSDK, we can disable mac randomisation for all Wi-Fis.
Ability to set default SMS App (Company Owned device):
Admins can use app-delegation feature to set the default SMS app.
Ability to choose between 12/24 hour format for time (Company Owned device):
Admins can configure the time display format and choose between 12 and 24 hour format.
Disable mounting Media devices (Company Owned device and Corporate owned personally enabled):
Admins can now disable users from mounting media devices in addition to SD Cards.
On a Corporate owned personally enabled (COPE) device, this is a device level setting
Support to configure App Name and Logo (Company Owned device)
Admins can choose a custom name and logo for the applications allowed in Company Owned devices
Please note the name and logo will reflect only in the Scalefusion home screen and not on native launcher screen.
Once an app name and logo are updated, we make a best case attempt to use it throughout the Dashboard like in Reports.
In addition to this, Admins can also update the package names for apps that they have added via Add Application
Please note editing a package name is only possible for apps that have been added via Add application and not for the apps that have been reported by device(s).
Allowed Domains for Adding Accounts (Company Owned device, BYO & Corporate owned personally enabled)
We have extended the adding account flag to allow IT Admins to mention the accounts that can be added to devices via other apps like GMail or other apps.
Please note the allowed app accounts restriction works when an account is added or is being attempted to add at Device level via an app.
The Android for Work account is never removed.
Ability to Remove Accounts as a one time action (Company Owned device, BYO & Corporate owned personally enabled)
Admins can choose to remove accounts from a device by using the Remove Account option available in device details.
This setting would remove all accounts except for the ones allowed in the profile currently associated with the device.
Buzz Device with Keep Ringing Option (Company Owned device)
Admins can now choose to buzz the device with a keep ringing option. The sound will be played continuously and can be dismissed by clicking OK on the alert.
Clear App Data for specific apps (Company Owned device):
Admins can now configure a setting that allows the end users to clear app data for specific apps instead of blocking for all.
Broadcast Message Enhancements
Ability to Handle images:
When creating a Broadcast message, Admins can upload an image and on device it will be shown as an image when viewing the message.
Ability to Delete a Message
If a message is deleted in Dashboard, then the same gets deleted from the Broadcast message screen on the device.
Extended Handling for Delete
Deleting a message will attempt to stop delivery to devices that have not yet received the message.
Remote Command to suspend apps in BYO mode
We have added a new remote command that will allow admins to suspend an app on BYO devices.
User Management Enhancements (Dashboard)
Handling of user delete
If a user is deleted in Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra then the user is also deleted in Scalefusion Dashboard and their device is deleted. This is controlled by the a flag in User Enrollment > Enrollment & Sync settings
New Role to Control Intercom Feature
We have introduced a new role that allows you to restrict access to Intercom chat for logged-in administrators within the Scalefusion portal. This role will not disable the chat widget entirely. It remains available on the public Scalefusion website (scalefusion.com) for general inquiries.
