The Enterprise folder (/enterprise/usr directory) is a persistent storage location on Zebra devices, meaning that files stored there will survive an enterprise reset (a wipe that clears user data but retains system settings and some applications). This directory is used to store various configuration files and other data that need to be preserved across enterprise resets.
With Scalefusion, Zebra config files can be deployed to enterprise location with which you can keep the essential data even if the device is Factory Reset. This can be done using FileDock where config files are uploaded with FileDock and then published to specific storage location (Enterprise Folder) using Content Management. This article describes the process how this can be achieved with Scalefusion.
Pre-Requisites
Scalefusion version 17.1.3 or above
FileDock version 4.0.4 or above should be installed on Zebra Device.
Steps to deploy file
Step 1: Upload the Zebra config file to Content Management
On Scalefusion Dashboard, go to Content Management > Content
Click on Upload File to upload Zebra Config file
