This is particularly useful for devices that are exposed to the public, such as those in classrooms, conference rooms, and similar settings. 1. Create a file on your desktop, for example, **set_volume.ps1** and open it in a text editor like notepad++ 2. Copy the contents below to the file or click [here](https://cdn.document360.io/175c0eac-012f-4410-bdc5-ac60794f82d8/Images/Documentation/Script%20to%20set%20volume.ps1) to download the file. 1. Enter the value of the preferred volume level in the script. ```powershell $preferredVolume = 42 try{    if(-not( Get-PackageProvider | Where-Object {$_.Name -eq "Nuget"}))    {        #installing nuget package if doesn't exists.        Install-packageprovider -name Nuget -MinimumVersion 2.8.5.201 -Force    }    if (-not(Get-Module -ListAvailable | Where-Object {$_.Name -eq "AudioDeviceCmdlets"}))    {        #installing audiodevicecmdlets module        Install-Module -name AudioDeviceCmdlets -Force    }    Set-AudioDevice -playbackvolume $preferredVolume    Write-Output "Successfully configured", $preferredVolume } catch{    Write-Output $_.exception.message } ``` 3. Follow [our guide](/docs/deploy-powershell-scripts-using-scalefusion) to upload & publish the PowerShell script using Scalefusion Dashboard. > [!CAUTION] > Please note that to use the PowerShell scripts, the Scalefusion MDM Agent Application must be installed on the device(s). Please follow [our guide](/docs/scalefusion-mdm-agent-application) to publish and install the Scalefusion MDM Agent Application. > [!CAUTION] > Notes: > > 1.
