# Scalefusion November 28th, 2024 Release Notes

## Version Information:

- **Scalefusion Dashboard:** v56.3.0
- **Scalefusion MDM Client (agent app for macOS):** v4.3.3

## Release Notes:

**Introducing Declarative Device Management (DDM) for macOS Updates**

Scalefusion now leverages Apple's DDM protocol to deliver a more robust and efficient macOS update management experience. With this, on macOS 14+ devices, administrators can schedule updates at specific times in the device's local timezone.

**Important Notes:**

- DDM functionality is currently supported for major and minor OS updates on macOS 14 devices and later.
- This feature does not apply to configuration updates or Safari updates.
- When multiple updates are pushed, the device will install the latest version.
