# Scalefusion July 31st, 2026 Release Notes

## Release Notes:

1. **Remote Control for Android 2.0**

The next-generation Remote Control for Android is now available as part of a phased rollout. The feature has been completely redesigned across the device app, dashboard, and backend to provide a faster, more reliable, and collaborative remote support experience. Key features:

**Note:** This feature is currently being rolled out in phases and is initially limited to **20 devices per account**. To increase this limit, contact the Scalefusion Support team.
  1. **Collaborative remote sessions:** Invite up to five additional administrators to join an active remote support session for collaborative troubleshooting.
  2. **Adaptive connectivity:** The remote session automatically adjusts the screen resolution based on network conditions and attempts to reconnect for up to 15 seconds if connectivity is interrupted.
  3. **Screen annotations:** Draw and highlight directly on the remote device screen to guide users during a support session. Annotations are visible to all participating administrators.
  4. **Voice communication:** Voice calling is enabled by default when a session starts. Simply unmute to begin communicating with the device user.
  5. **Enhanced session reports:** View additional session details, including bandwidth consumption, participant count, and other session metrics.
2. [**Enhanced CIS Level 1 Compliance Coverage for Windows**](/v1/docs/compliance-for-windows)

CIS Level 1 compliance for Windows has been expanded to include more than 350 compliance rules per benchmark, providing broader visibility into your organization's security posture.
  1. **Expanded compliance coverage:** Evaluate Windows devices against a larger set of CIS Level 1 security recommendations.
  2. **Granular remediation:** Remediation can now be enabled individually for each compliance rule, giving administrators greater control over the changes applied to managed devices.
  3. **Rollback support:** Compliance changes can now be reverted after a compliance profile is unpublished. Rollback is performed on a best-effort basis and may not be successful in all scenarios.

Administrators can now customize the Device Group Enrollment Key instead of using the system-generated default value. This makes enrollment keys easier to manage and share during device enrollment or when moving devices between groups. Custom enrollment keys can be configured when:

  2. Creating device groups using CSV import.
  3. Creating a new device group from the Scalefusion Dashboard.
  4. Creating a new device group using the API.
