They are like a container with all the configurations and settings including the enrollment URL, there by making it easy for IT Admins to enroll devices in bulk and/or can be shared directly with employees or students so that they can easily enroll their devices. To generate Provisioning Packages or **.ppkg** files, you would need a Windows machine with [**Windows Configuration Designer**](https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9nblggh4tx22) installed. The guides below help you to create provisioning packages for various deployment scenarios, 1. [**Provisioning Packages for Factory fresh devices (OOBE)**](/docs/enroll-new-windows-devices-using-provisioning-packages)**:** Use [this guide](/docs/enroll-new-windows-devices-using-provisioning-packages) to generate PPKG files that can be used to enroll new Windows 10 devices right at the first time setup. 2. [**Provisioning Packages for Enrolling existing Windows devices**](/docs/provisioning-packages-for-enrolling-existing-windows-10-devices)**:** Use [this guide](/docs/provisioning-packages-for-enrolling-existing-windows-10-devices) to generate PPKG files that can be used to enroll devices that are already in field with users who have **admin** access to the devices.
